February 17 - Well, the exterior work began this Friday and you can see that the fascia/soffit has been started at the front of the house by MGD Exteriors, can't wait to see how the Hardie plank siding and shakes I picked turn out! Here's the first look...
And the interior drywalling continues and really gives a sense of how the space is going to feel, so exciting! But yikes, now I have a million more decisions to make re: interior finishes! I spent all day Saturday looking at lights and not really seeing anything that caught my eye but then discovered the New York Lighting website with so many choices, I think my head is dizzy now! Well, anyway, as I prod on with my interior choices, you can have a look at how the inside of the house is taking shape!

Drywall has started!
Feb 10 - So the process of installing the drywall has begun, as you can see below...

And the other good news? The siding for our exterior has arrived!
see the piles of stuff on the ground outside the house? That is our Hardieboard siding, trim and shakes and the the soffit, fasica et al! It's going to actually look more like a finished house soon! Can't wait to see the transformation!!!
